The success of the CSUF Arts Triathlon created by CSUF Marketing and Communications students for Artistic Journeys, brought a request that Artistic Journeys take the triathlon on the road to India! This required all hands on deck to prepare for 300 student participants in India! Name badges were a necessity, and Certificates of Participation, too! Renaissance banners created by Artistic Journeys visual arts students Crystal and Patricia Liu decorate the walls at the CSUF Arts Triathlon. These banners, two of twelve, were also displayed at the Renaissance Faire, the day after the Arts Triathlon at CSUF. These large banners became the inspiration for 300 small banners taken to India for the Arts Triathlon held one month later.

1st, 2nd, and 3rd Place Awards were given to the highest scoring students at the Arts Triathlon. Honorable Mention students also received ships in bottles. Additional awards were restaurant gift certificates from Islands! All students received Certificates of Participation.

Students in India gather on the floor of their auditorium to decorate their Renaissance banners as part of the Arts Triathlon presented there.

Over 300 small Renaissance banners were created to take to India for the Arts Triathlon there. Large banners made by our art students for the Renaissance Faire were the model for the small ones. Mrs. Parent and Mrs. Greenlees sew the banners for India. Mrs. Parent holds the award for sewing the longest amount of hours!!!
